BIOGRAPHYA GIT graduate at the Hollywood's Musician Institute, Roberto Vanni has been nominated as "Outstanding Stylist Student" in 1995. During the GIT year he studied with Scott Henderson, Paul Gilbert, Brett Garsed, Jennifer Batten, Darren Housholder etc. He works in studio and live with the bands Osmosi playing origianls, Diapason Band (Tribute Band of the Italian Rockstar Vasco Rossi) workin' with Rossi Musicians such as the bass player Claudio Golinelli, sax player Andrea Innesto and Keyboard player Alberto Rocchetti. Roberto plays also with the Van Halen Tribute Band Eruption. He worked with the producer Fabrizio V.Zee Grossi (Steve Vai, Cypress Hill, Steve Lukather etc.), playing lead guitars for the Mickey Thomas' Over the Edge (singer for Jefferson Starship and Starship) sharing the guitar leads with Toto' Steve Lukather, Journey's Neal Schon and Richie Kotzen; then played guitar leads also for James Christian (singer for House of Lords) on the album Meet the man and on the Tommy Funderburk album Anything for you. All the album produced by Grossi are available worldwide (U.S.A., Japan and Europe) and received positive critics and a good sales. |
