
Born and raised in Verona Italy Roberto cut his teeth in the 80's with various local hard rock bands, in 1994 moved to Los Angeles to attend G.I.T. (Guitar Institute of Technology) at the Hollywood's MUSICIANS INSTITUTE in California. Graduated and nominated as "Outstanding Stylist Student" in 1995, he studied with SCOTT HENDERSON, PAUL GILBERT, BRETT GARSED, JENNIFER BATTEN, DARREN HOUSHOLDER, T.J. HELMERICH. Moved back to Italy in 1998, after playing in the L.A. area with various bands Roberto played with OSMOSI, playing originals, FIRE WARNING VAN HALEN Tribute Band and with DIAPASONBAND (from 2001 to 2024) playing over 100 gigs per year and over 2000 live shows all over Italy, Austria and Switzerland. He worked and collaborates with the L.A. producer FABRIZIO V.ZEE GROSSI (Steve, Vai, Cypress Hill, Steve Lukather, Laura Pausini etc.) and currently is pursuing various live projects. The Thomas, Christian and Funderburk albums were produced by Grossi and the Japanese famous magazines BURRNN!! and YOUNG GUITAR spotted Roberto with outstanding reviews concerning his guitar playing. He organized guitar seminars with CARL VERHEYEN, MATTIAS "IA" EKLUNDH & TONY MacALPINE , he also teaches Rock Techinques at L.A.M.S. music school an hosts private lessons. Roberto released his solo album called Headed To Ganymede.
